I have been working as a producer/sound director since the early 2000’s. You probably know me from working with Karnivool, Twelve Foot Ninja, Good Tiger, Dead Letter Circus and Sikth, as well as with many others. I am known as a person seeking to extend the boundaries of the possible within the framework of the project, and I strongly encourage this approach to all beginners.
I work as a full-time producer and sound engineer, live on the Gold Coast of Australia and will be very happy to share my long-term skills with a new generation of sound professionals.
As producers, we are always looking for something unique, a sound that no one else can repeat and which will be unmistakably recognizable.
And while many parts of the recording can be saved and restored, one thing that can never be reproduced is the atmosphere of the physical place of the original record. If you manage to capture this unique sound imprint in your mix, you will create something that you will never be able to recreate or repeat to anyone anywhere and ever. The depth, the sense of space and three-dimensionality is a snapshot of a unique moment in space and time.
