riginally “Atom-Eater” was an idea for a “Radioactive Waste Cleaning Robot” that got its body/head shape inspired by an anteater animal that is capable of accessing “hard-to-reach” places using its elongated head and long tongue. Later I decided to just leave it at state of “an open platform” where depending on a specific task that needs to be done, this robot could be equipped with a hardware required for a certain kind of job.
Using ULTRABORG 3D KitBash Parts assigned to IMM brushes in ZBrush. I wanted to create a fun robot design that uses a more organic shape flow and is actuated by synthetic muscles.
It’s timelapse was availible in Bulgarov’s yotube channel while ago, but now has been removed.
Also included article with some explanations about creative and technical process of creation this concept.
